Accessibility
This site is designed to be readable, calm, and usable for as many visitors as possible.
Our commitment
alanthinks.ai aims to provide an inclusive reading experience. The content is primarily editorial, and we prioritize clarity, simple navigation, and a low-distraction layout that works well across devices.
Standards approach
We aim to align with widely accepted accessibility practices and target WCAG 2.1 Level AA where reasonable for a lightweight, privacy-first, static site.
What we’ve built for
- Clear heading structure and predictable page layout.
- Readable typography with generous spacing.
- Keyboard-friendly navigation for core site paths.
- High-contrast, restrained design choices intended to support long-form reading.
- Simple, minimal JavaScript use focused on shared header/footer consistency.
Images and media
When images are used, we aim to provide meaningful alternative text. Decorative imagery is kept minimal to maintain an editorial reading experience.
Known limitations
This site is evolving. Some older PDFs or archived materials may not yet be fully optimized for screen readers. If you encounter a document that is difficult to access, we can provide an alternative format when feasible.
